7 a.m. – Students board Freeman Public’s School Bus #3 at the intersection of Seventh and Main; that’s veteran bus driver Herb Koerner at the wheel. 7 a.m. – Michelle Fink and her youngest daughter, Arianna, walk to school on the Freeman Academy campus. 9 a.m. – Jim Smidt and Jerry Saner bale cardboard at the Freeman Recycling Center. 9 a.m. – Julie Anderson delivers cardboard from Fensel’s Greenhouse to the Freeman Recycling Center, where Jerry Saner (pictured here) and Jim Smidt bale it for eventual sale as part of the city’s waste management operation. 10 a.m. – Tina Decker vacuums the lobby/office area at the Freeman Country Inn. 1 p.m. – John Weber cleans up his tanker after unloading milk at AMPIÕs Freeman plant. 2 p.m. – Karolyn Langerock takes advantage of the warm weather to wash her farm vehicle at Dave’s Car Wash. 3 p.m. – Quincy Mboob, 6, enjoys fishing at the Prairie Arboretum.
